Jerry and Caroline Jones have been running small group tours to France since 1999.
Jerry, a Christian minister for over 40 years, was educated at USC and Yale, with further postgraduate studies at Oxford University, England. They met and married in Oxford in 1978. Caroline graduated from the University of Birmingham, UK, with a Bachelor of Law degree.
After raising their three children in Oxford, the Jones family moved to California, where Caroline became a teacher of French at a local public high school.
The Joneses have had a home in France since 1992. They are well-known and respected in the local area.
Passionate about educational travel, Jerry and Caroline have established Summer School France to bring European History, art, architecture and culture to YOU.

OUR TEACHERS:
Brian Trimmer has been a classroom teacher for over twenty-six years. He currently teaches U.S. history at Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village, California, and AP® World History and United States History (Master Teacher) through HSLDA Online Academy. In addition to teaching human society, culture, and development, Mr. Trimmer highlights the Christian worldview and God’s guiding hand in shaping the course of human history.
Brian has published his Master’s thesis: Defenders of the West, the History of Naval Air Station Tillamook, on Amazon’s self-publishing page. He and his wife, Heather, have three adult children.
Mr. Trimmer has an M.A. in history from Pepperdine University and his B.A. from Columbia Christian College. Additionally, he has a teaching credential from California Lutheran University.
Jaime Banks is from Florence, Alabama, where she teaches art at a local christian school. When she’s not with kids in the classroom or spending time with her family, you can find her reading on her front porch or planning her next adventure. Her experiences growing up on the mission field shaped her quiet faith in God, a deep love for people of all kinds, and a lifelong hunger for learning.
